You have probably noticed that our sanctuary roof is covered with new shingles. The scope of the repair work also included a new deck and spacers to correct a ventilation problem. The total price tag for this project was $40,865.
Our roof fund has been steadily increasing little by little, and right now we have received $23,030.00 in pledges, or about 56.3% of our goal. This is a significant amount of money to raise in such a short time. The good news is that this will allow us to cover the amount that we had to cover out of pocket. However, we’ll still have about $17,000 in debt to pay off over the next 5 years on the conference building loan that we took out for this project. Thank you to all who have contributed. We have gotten a good jump on this project, and I am hopeful that your continued generosity will allow us to care for our building without decreasing the support for any of the ministries that take place inside it.
