Meet Our Pastor

	Rev. Nick Keeney is currently the pastor of Park Terrace United Methodist Church, and was appointed here in July, 2005. He is a 2002 graduate of Alfred University with a major in Economics and minors in Math and Accounting. In 2005, he received his Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School.

Pastor Nick and his wife Brookye have been married since 2002. Brookye is an artist. Her work includes pottery, silk painting, and collage. She also works part-time as a resident artist and mural painter at The Discovery Center, a children's museum in Binghamton. They are expecting their first child in April!

The last resident of the parsonage is St. Augustine the miniature dachsund. He's known around here as Augie. Pound for pound, he's probably the smartest dog in Apalachin. Here he is balancing 5 Cheerios on his nose. (He makes the Cheerios look huge!)

Pastor Nick likes to relax by hanging out on his parent's farm, reading, playing golf and basketball, or working with wood in his garage.

Pastor Nick believes that no church meeting should last more than an hour. Here he is at Annual Conference, a very long set of church meetings held each June. You can see that his attention span has already run out.
